HEALTH & WELLNESS COMMITTE: GOA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE & INDUSTRIES organised its FIRST SYMPOSIUM in association with IMA Ponda Charitable Trust on 4th September 2021 between 3.30 pm and 5.30 pm. at Dilasa Farmagudi Ponda. After Introduction of the GCCI members with IMA Team, Dr Basavaraj Pattanshetti, President IMA Ponda welcomed the house.
Inauguration of the symposium by lighting the traditional lamp was done at the hands of Chief Guest Pradip Da Costa, President Verna Industries Association Dr. Pravin Khullar, President GPMA and member Executive Council GCCI 2021-22. The Guest of honour was Dr Santosh Usgaonkar, Chairman IMA Ponda Charitable Trust. Dr. Ajay Pednekar, Vice Chairman Trust introduced the Guests and faculty.
The symposium began with Dr Santosh along with Dr Vallabh Dhaimodker and Dr Vandana Patankar giving presentations on Palliative Care , Dilasa project and it’s functioning. Shri Rajesh Gaonkar Member GCCI Health n Wellness Committee gave a presentation on Health Insurance. Dr Amol Mahaldar Chair Health and Wellness Committee moderated the discussions.
Mr Pradip DaCosta expressed his admiration for the pioneering work in Palliative care taken by IMA Ponda Charitable trust. Dr Praveen Khullar was thoroughly impressed by the work done by Team Dilasa and made some suggestions. The Program was compered by Dr Vallabh Dhaimodker whilst Dr Amol Mahaldar Proposed the vote of Thanks.
The function was graced by Shri Sanjay Amonkar, Director GCCI, members of GCCI Health and Wellness Committee Members of IMA Ponda and Dilasa Team members.
GCCI members expressed their satisfaction after a visit of Dilasa facilities and have assured their while hearted support to take the noble work forwards.
