Dr. Vallabh Dhaimodkar was invited for seminar/presentation on Palliative Care and Dilasa at the function organised by Jyesta Nagrik Manch at Nana Nani park at Porvorim on 13th August 2024. Accompanied by Dr Vandana Patankar and Dinar Mardolkar from VISAVA. The program was conducted on behalf of IMA PONDA, IMA PONDA CHARITABLE TRUST and NAPCAIM. Dr. Vallabh Dhaimodkar spoke in detail about Palliative Care, Dilasa and VISAVA. More than 50 participants attended, which included senior citizens, young people and some highscool students.
On the Occasion a 90 years old gentleman, a widower, wife died due to cancer, living alone was felicitated by Jyesth Nagarik Manch Porvorim. It was his 90th Birthday. At the end of the presentation he was so much impressed and emotional that instantly he donated Rs. 9000 /- to IMA Ponda Charitable Trust. All the audience were very much impressed. It was a heart touching moment.
Many others expressed their wish for contribution. Also some were interested to register and work as a volunteer for Dilasa. Many expressed their wish to visit Dilasa. Overall it was very fruitful program giving positive exposure to IMA PONDA, IMA PONDA CHARITABLE TRUST, DILASA and VISAVA.
