6th Monthly Meeting of IMA Ponda and DOCTORS’ DAY Celebration on 27/06/15:
The 6th Monthly meeting of IMA Ponda took place on 27/06/15. Dr.Vandana Patankar,Vice president,IMA Ponda welcomed the gathering.Dr.Prasad Netravalkar IMA Goa State President was the Chief Guest for the evening and Dr.Ashadevi Netravalkar,IMA Goa State Treasurer was the chief invitee. The Master of Ceremonies for the occasion was Dr.Ajay Pednekar. The Doctors’ Day Function began with Dr.Ajay Pednekar telling the gathering about the significance of DOCORS’DAY.
The traditional lamp was then lit. Following which The Doctors’Day Prayer was read out by Dr.Nutan Dev and all other doctors too recited it alongwith.The Felicitees for the evening were Shri Vinayak Parshuram Modaka and Smt.Shobha Tendulkar, who were felicitated at the hands of Dr.Vandana Patankar, with a Shawl, Shrifal,flower bouquet and a Citation, for their immense contribution to the field of education.
The IMA Ponda Member Doctor felicitees Dr.Bajirao N. Deshpande,Dr.Purnima Usgaonker were felicitated at the hands of Dr.Prasad Netravalkar.The IMA members’ children with academic achievements Mast.Vineet Madkaikar (Son of Dr.Sandesh Madkaikar and Dr.Jayasri Madkaikar),Mr.Kedar Singbal(Son of Dr.Uday Sigbal and Dr.Shraddha Singbal) and Mr.Abhijit Naik (Son of Dr.Vandana Patankar Naik) were felicitated at the hands of Dr.Ashadevi Netravalakar with a floral bouquet and a Certificate.
As has been the tradition every Doctors’ Day, IMA Ponda donated a water purifier to Pradnya Shikshan Saunsthan, Keri. Dr.Prasad Netravalkar as well as the felicitees spoke on the occasion.Dr.Vallabh Dhaimodker gave a small presentation on “DILASA”.The meeting concluded with vote of thanks by the Secretary and was followed by dinner.28 members attended the meeting and function.
